Short definitions of the words that show up in our rules, on the servers and in the ban lists. One sentence each, no jargon behind the jargon.
Why this page exists
New players hit terms like OneBlock+, Ban ID or severity long before anyone explains them. Rather than repeating the same explanation in every rule and every form, we keep the definitions here and link to them from the pages that use them.
How to use it
Pick a letter from the index or search the page. Every term has its own anchor, so you can send someone a link straight to a single definition instead of the whole page.

- Appeal
- A request to review an existing punishment, handled by a staff member who was not involved in the original decision.
B
- Ban ID
- The identifier shown in the public ban list. It is required when submitting an appeal.
C
- Cheat
- Any external program or client modification that gives an unfair advantage. It is a severe rule breach on every Vudira server.

- Excessive Plus
- A Quake III Arena modification with rebalanced weapons and faster movement.
G
- Griefing
- Deliberately ruining another player's build, progress or run instead of playing the game.

- Helper
- Entry-level volunteer moderation role, minimum age 16.

- NMRiH
- No More Room in Hell, a cooperative zombie survival game built on the Source engine.
O
- OneBlock+
- Minecraft survival mode where the world starts as a single regenerating block and the island grows from what that block produces.
P
- Pay-to-win
- Selling gameplay advantages for money. Vudira does not do this in any form.
- Ping
- Round-trip delay between your computer and the server, in milliseconds. Lower means smoother play.
S
- Season
- A fixed period after which the NMRiH leaderboard resets and standings start from zero.
- Severity
- The weight of a rule in the rulebook: general, important or severe. It determines the punishment range.
- SourceBans
- The punishment database used for Source engine servers, published publicly.
- Steam ID
- Your permanent Steam account identifier. Source game bans and appeals are tied to it, not to a nickname.

- Ticket
- A private thread opened on our Discord where a staff member handles one case with you.
W
- Whitelist
- A list of accounts allowed to join a server. On an open server it stays off; it is used for closed tests and events.

Yes. Every term is translated, not machine-swapped, and the meaning is kept identical across all site languages.
