One island, one block, and everything you build from it. This page covers joining, the places worth knowing and every command you will actually use.
The address is on the servers page and in the Discord. Add it once and it stays in your list. If it refuses to connect, it is almost always an old client version rather than a ban.
You start on a single block that turns into something else every time you break it. Ore, wood, mobs, occasionally a problem. The island grows out of what you mine, so there is no wrong direction, only slower ones.
Break the block until you have a small platform, then a chest, then a way not to fall. Join a job early because it pays for everything later. Set a home with /sethome before you go exploring.
An island can be shared. Invite people with the team menu, and use the settings to decide who may build, open chests or touch redstone. Trust is easier to give than to take back, so give it in that order.
Sell to the shop for a steady price or to other players for a better one. The auction house is the busier of the two, and /worth tells you what the shop pays before you commit.
Jobs pay you for what you already do: mining, building, farming, fighting. Skills level up alongside. You can hold several jobs, and leaving one keeps your progress in case you come back.
Voting is the reliable daily income. Crates, the daily login and the battlepass fill the rest. None of it locks content behind a wall, it just gets you there sooner.
Nothing sold anywhere gives you an advantage in a fight, a better drop rate or a shortcut past another player. Cosmetics and convenience only. This is the one rule we would rather lose money over than bend.
Do not take from an island you were invited to, do not build a nuisance next to someone, and do not treat an unlocked chest as an offer. Griefing is the most common reason people get banned here, and it is entirely avoidable.
Lower your render distance first, it fixes most of it. Redstone clocks and enormous mob farms are the usual cause when it is not on your side; if you notice a spot that stutters for everyone, tell us where.
Lost items from a crash or a bug can sometimes be restored, but only if we hear about it quickly and know roughly when it happened. Open a ticket with the time and the server, and do not rebuild over the evidence.

A combat zone for people who want to fight. Your island stays safe while you do.
PvE challenges with custom bosses, themed zones and rarer loot.
A separate resource world, so you can gather ore without tearing up your own island.

OneBlock does not start with an island. It starts with a single block floating in the void. Mine it and it turns into another one, moving through phases: stone, wood, ore, nether blocks, and eventually mobs that drop out of it straight in front of you. You do not find an island here, you build one out of whatever the block gives you. The first few hours are about not falling into the void and gathering enough to lay a platform. If you do fall, teleporting back costs you nothing but time.
Your island is protected automatically. Nobody can build, mine or open a chest on it until you invite them. When you do invite someone, they get exactly the rights you set and you can take them back at any time. Chests can also be locked with a sign, even against your own island members, so sharing an island does not have to mean sharing storage. This is the question new players ask most often, and the answer is simple: nobody takes your things unless you let them in.
Mining, chopping, farming, hunting and building all pay money and experience into the jobs you have joined. Alongside that, skills level up on their own from whatever you actually do and unlock passive bonuses. There is no way to buy these levels. That is deliberate: anyone here with strong gear earned it by playing.
The server shop with fixed prices exists as a floor, so there is always something to buy and sell. Real prices are set by the auction house and by the shops players open at their own islands. Direct trades between two players go through a confirmation window where both sides see what they give and what they get, so nobody can swap the goods at the last moment. If someone pushes you to trade outside that window, do not, and report it.
Spawners, hoppers and furnaces can all be upgraded, and mobs on farms stack instead of hundreds of separate entities running around. That is what keeps a large farm from dragging the server down. Redstone has a limit on how many changes it may make per tick, so clocks and fast pulses work fine but a runaway loop switches itself off. If a contraption that worked elsewhere stops here, it is almost always that limit and not a bug.
A backpack travels with you and opens anywhere; a shulker box opens straight from your inventory without placing it. When you die, your things stay where you fell, with everything that implies. There is no command that restores a lost inventory and staff do not hand items back on request. It sounds harsh. It is also the one rule that applies to everyone identically.
The server runs an anticheat and blocks known exploits that can crash or corrupt a world. Detection alone never issues a permanent ban: a human reviews the record first. You can lock your account with a password so nobody else can use it, and Java players with a valid account log in automatically. Every punishment is public on the ban list together with its reason, and every one of them can be appealed.
You can join from Bedrock edition, meaning console, mobile or the Windows version. Menus behave a little differently, some commands are more awkward to type, and skins occasionally load late, but you are in the same world with the same people. If a menu will not open, say so in chat; it is usually one settings command away.
Cosmetics, tags, effects and convenience are for sale. Damage, reach, better gear, in-game money and job levels are not. This rule has no exception, not even for staff. If anyone offers you an advantage for money outside the server, it is a scam and we want to hear about it.
Before you write to us, try to remember three things: what exactly you were doing, where you were, and roughly when. With those, a problem takes minutes to find in the logs. Without them it can take an hour. Report bugs through a Discord ticket rather than public chat, where they get buried.
