What is Vudira?

Vudira is a player-run gaming network that has hosted its own European game servers since 2016. It operates Minecraft, No More Room in Hell and Source engine servers, publishes a public rulebook, and runs public ban lists, reports and appeals.

More on this page: Home

Is Vudira pay-to-win?

No. Nothing sold or granted on Vudira changes gameplay power. Perks are cosmetic or earned in game, and staff are not allowed to hand out advantages.

More on this page: Home

Which games does Vudira host?

Three right now: No More Room in Hell on five EU servers, Minecraft OneBlock+, and Quake III Arena on Excessive Plus. We open a new one when an active group needs it and the project is realistic.

More on this page: Home

How do I report a cheater?

Open a ticket on the Vudira Discord or use the contact email, include the game, server, player ID, date, time and evidence such as a clip or demo. Reports posted on external forums are not tracked.

More on this page: Home

Can I appeal a ban?

Yes. Every punishment can be appealed through the appeal page. Appeals are checked against the original evidence and the rule that was applied, and the outcome is explained.

More on this page: Home

How do I join the staff team?

Applications go through the staff recruitment page. The minimum age is 16 for helper roles and 18 for senior roles, positions are voluntary, and selected applicants start with a supervised trial period.

Servers

How do I connect to a Vudira server?

Open vudira.com/servers, choose the game, and use the direct connect link or copy the address into your client. Minecraft addresses can also be pasted straight into the multiplayer menu.

More on this page: Servers

Where are the servers hosted?

In Germany, on machines Vudira operates directly. Sitting in the middle of Europe keeps ping low from almost anywhere in the EU, and the network in front of the servers filters both volumetric and application-layer DDoS attacks. Performance tuning stays in our hands.

More on this page: Servers

Do I need a whitelist or an application?

No. Vudira servers are open to anyone who accepts the rules. Applications only exist for staff roles and for community server partnerships.

More on this page: Servers

Minecraft guide

What is the Minecraft server address?

mc.vudira.com. Paste it into the multiplayer menu, no port needed.

More on this page: Minecraft guide

Do I need to register?

No setup beyond joining. Your progress is tied to your Minecraft account.

More on this page: Minecraft guide

Can I play with friends?

Yes. Use /ob team invite to add them to your island, or /ob visit to drop in on theirs.

More on this page: Minecraft guide

Discord

Do I need Discord to play?

No. The game servers are open to everyone. But reports, appeals and support all run through Discord, so it is the fastest way to reach us.

More on this page: Discord

Are tickets private?

Yes. Only staff can see a ticket. The person you report never sees it and is not told who opened it.

More on this page: Discord

Rules

Do game rules override the community rules?

No. Community rules apply everywhere on Vudira. Game rules only add detail for a specific title and can never weaken a global rule.

More on this page: Rules

What do the severity levels mean?

General covers minor issues usually met with a warning or a short restriction. Important covers disruptive conduct that often leads to a temporary ban. Severe covers cheating, hate speech, ban evasion and similar cases that can justify permanent removal.

More on this page: Rules

Can I be punished for something not listed?

Yes, if the behaviour clearly harms fairness, safety or server integrity. In those cases staff document what happened and why the action was taken, and the appeal path stays open.

Server status

How often is this page updated?

Whenever something changes. Every incident carries a start time and is updated until it is resolved, so the timestamps tell you how fresh the information is.

More on this page: Server status

The status says fine but I still cannot connect.

Then it is most likely on your side: version, network or an old address. The help page walks through the usual causes, and if none of them fit, open a ticket.

More on this page: Server status

Help

Why can I not connect when my friend can?

Almost always the version, the network or an old address left in the list. Compare all three with your friend and the difference is usually obvious.

More on this page: Help

Is the server down?

Check the status page. Incidents are posted there with a start time and updated until they are closed. If nothing is posted, the servers are up as far as we know.

More on this page: Help

Connection times out on one network but works on another.

Then the servers are reachable and something on the first network is blocking the traffic. School, work and public networks very often block game ports.

More on this page: Help

Do you restore items lost to a bug?

If the bug is ours and the logs confirm it, yes. Ordinary deaths, falls into the void and your own mistakes stay yours. That part is in the rules.

Glossary

A term I ran into is missing here

Tell us in a Discord ticket or through the contact form and we will add it. The glossary grows from the questions people actually ask.

More on this page: Glossary

Are the definitions the same in every language

Yes. Every term is translated, not machine-swapped, and the meaning is kept identical across all site languages.

More on this page: Glossary

Report a player

Where do I send a report?

Through a private ticket on the Vudira Discord, or by email using the address on the contact page. Both are read by staff, Discord is faster for follow-up questions.

More on this page: Report a player

Do I need video evidence?

It is not always mandatory, but it is the difference between a case that can be decided and one that cannot. For cheating accusations, a clip or demo is effectively required.

More on this page: Report a player

Will the reported player know it was me?

No. Reports are handled privately and the reporter is not disclosed to the person being reported.

More on this page: Report a player

Appeal a ban

How long does an appeal take?

Most appeals are answered within a few days. Cases that need senior review or older log checks can take longer, and you are told when that happens.

More on this page: Appeal a ban

Can a permanent ban be lifted?

Sometimes. Permanent bans for cheating or hate speech are rarely reversed, but a genuine mistaken identity or a flawed evidence chain is corrected as soon as it is confirmed.

More on this page: Appeal a ban

Can I appeal twice?

A second appeal is only useful if you bring something new: fresh evidence, missing context, or a documented error in the original decision.

More on this page: Appeal a ban

Staff recruitment

Are staff roles paid?

No. Every staff position on Vudira is voluntary and unpaid. It is a trust role in the community, not a job.

More on this page: Staff recruitment

What is the minimum age?

Sixteen for helper-level roles and eighteen for senior positions, without exceptions. Applications below the age limit are not considered.

More on this page: Staff recruitment

I was punished before. Can I still apply?

Yes, if you are honest about it. A declared old warning is far less damaging than an omission we find during the history check.

More on this page: Staff recruitment

Server partnership

Is this free hosting?

No. It is a partnership. The server becomes part of Vudira, follows the Vudira rulebook and stays under our final oversight.

More on this page: Server partnership

Can we keep our own branding?

The server runs under Vudira branding. Your group keeps its identity inside the community, but the server is not a separate brand.

More on this page: Server partnership

What happens if the group goes inactive?

Servers with no activity are archived or repurposed after notice. That is the honest trade-off of running on someone else’s hardware.

More on this page: Server partnership

Moderation

How long does a report take?

Usually hours, sometimes a day or two when it needs senior staff or log checks. If a week passes without an answer, ask again, it means something was missed.

More on this page: Moderation

Will the reported player know it was me?

We do not pass on who reported. In a small community they can often guess, and we will not pretend otherwise.

More on this page: Moderation

Can I be banned without a warning?

Yes, for cheating, ban evasion and anything endangering another person. Those do not get a warm-up.

More on this page: Moderation

What if a moderator treated me unfairly?

Appeal it, or write to the community email. Complaints about staff are read by someone else, not by the person you are complaining about.

More on this page: Moderation

Do you delete old punishments?

Records stay while a punishment is active, and moderation history matters for repeat cases. A punishment lifted as a mistake is marked as such rather than erased.

More on this page: Moderation

For parents

Can parents contact Vudira directly?

Yes. Write to the community email or open a Discord ticket. You do not need an account and you do not need to explain yourself to a bot first.

More on this page: For parents

Is there an age limit?

We do not run age verification, and we would be lying if we claimed to. Under Slovak law a person under 16 needs a parent's agreement before consenting to data processing, which is described on the privacy page.

More on this page: For parents

Do you collect information about children?

We keep as little as possible: usernames, game identifiers and notes on incidents. No advertising profiles, no data sold to anyone.

More on this page: For parents

What happens if my child is bullied?

Report it through a ticket or email with as much detail as you can. It is reviewed by a person, the affected players are separated first, and the outcome is written down.

More on this page: For parents

Can you guarantee nothing bad will ever happen?

No, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can guarantee is a process: reports are read, serious behaviour is acted on, and decisions are documented rather than improvised.

About

Is Vudira a company?

No. Vudira is a community project run by volunteers. There is no commercial hosting business behind it and no investor to satisfy.

More on this page: About

How is Vudira funded?

Through the people who run it and optional community support that never affects gameplay. Nothing sold changes power, progression or moderation outcomes.

More on this page: About

Can I help without becoming staff?

Yes. Reporting rule breaks with evidence, helping new players, translating content and testing servers are all genuinely useful contributions.

More on this page: About

Contact

How fast do you answer?

Discord tickets are usually answered within a day or two. Email is slower, especially for cases that need a log check or senior review.

More on this page: Contact

Can I get support in my language?

The site is available in nine languages, and staff cover several of them. English is the safest choice when your case is urgent or complex.
