We have a new server. Left 4 Dead 2 is now part of the network at play.vudira.com:27001, listed as -[EU]- Vudira.com - L4D2 Modded on the server list.
What it is
Mostly co-op campaigns. Depending on the config the server also rotates other game modes, and the mode follows the map. It has 31 slots, because you can play the infected side too, zombies included, not only the survivors.
What the plugins change
It runs on SourceMod and Metamod with a pack of plugins that fix old bugs and lift limits. Ammo is infinite and friendly fire is off, so nobody loses a run to a stray shot. More than four survivors work properly, with fixes for the identity swaps, rescue closets and finale problems a fifth player used to cause. Respawn keeps your stats, admins can steer the AI Director and spawn items or special infected without cheats, and patches cover the known crashes and map bugs, such as the ladder crash, charger collisions, witch targeting and defibrillators. Crash reports tell us why something broke instead of leaving us to guess.
How to join
You need your own copy of Left 4 Dead 2 on Steam. Open the console and type connect play.vudira.com:27001, or copy the address from the server list. The same rules apply here as on every Vudira server.
